The Story:
I love the combination of technology and nature. Especially if nature is over-riding the technology (but not in this case). When this piece first began to form in my head I envisioned it as sort of an advertisement for a futuristic company that creates mechanical wings which can be controlled by the wearer's mind. They are mechanical in nature, and this style is Fairy wings, they also would (in my mind) offer Angel and Dragon styles of wings. This may not be at all obvious from the artwork it self, but the necklace is actually the part of the wings which connects to her and would interact with her nervous system.
